Ancient Life Magick is a term of my own invention - at least I personally have never seen it used anywhere. I was trying to come up with a unique title for my blog that embodied the elements of life, magick and ancient healing techniques and practices all rolled up into one.
The term Magick, not to be confused with the more familiar term Magic, is the art of utilizing natural forces around us to bring about change. Magick is neutral, neither good, nor evil. The practitioner decides how to focus this natural energy.
Ancient means belonging to the past and no longer in existence. It's true that much of the knowledge about ancient healing techniques and practices has been lost to us, however, some of this knowledge has survived and been passed down through the generations, though not in a public landscape. But people of the 21st century are beginning to wake-up so to speak and wanting to learn more about these ancient practices and their health benefits.
Life is the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual.
So when these three terms are put together - at least in my mind's eye, it means using ancient techniques in conjunction with utilizing elements of nature to make changes that will improve our health and quality of life. This may or may not make sense to others, but it makes sense to me. Thus the title of this blog. I hope others will get it too, and find some useful information here.
Wishing you all good health and a happy life!
